The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who registered for the 2025 UTME mock examination can now print their notification slips ahead of the test scheduled for Thursday, April 10, 2025.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, JAMB’s spokesperson Dr. Fabian Benjamin confirmed that the notification slip is now available online for printing. The slip contains vital information such as the date of the exam, venue, scheduled time, and other specific instructions each candidate must follow.
Mock Slip Now Available for Download
Candidates are advised to begin printing their slips from Thursday, April 3, 2025, in order to have enough time to plan their movement, especially those who need to travel to unfamiliar locations.
The printing can be done by visiting the official JAMB portal at www.jamb.gov.ng. From the homepage, candidates are to click on “2025 Mock Slip Printing”, input their registration number, and click the print button.
JAMB Urges Candidates to Prepare and Arrive Early
JAMB is advising all mock candidates to locate and visit their assigned CBT centres at least a day or two before the exam date. This will help avoid any confusion or late arrival on the day of the test.
The Board reminded candidates that 7:00 a.m. is the arrival time, while biometric verification will begin by 7:25 a.m. Candidates who arrive late or fail to complete biometric verification will not be allowed to participate in the mock exam.
Items such as phones, calculators, smartwatches, and bags are not allowed at the exam venue. Candidates are only expected to come with their printed mock slip and a simple biro if needed.
Main UTME Still Holds from April 25
JAMB also confirmed that the main 2025 UTME remains scheduled to begin on Friday, April 25, 2025, and run through Monday, May 5, 2025. The mock is optional but highly recommended as it helps candidates familiarize themselves with the CBT format and reduce anxiety ahead of the main exam.
The Board further encouraged candidates to take both the mock and the main UTME seriously, noting that preparation and punctuality are key to a smooth exam experience.
