JAMB FCT Holds Roundtable to Prepare Staff for 2025 UTME Registration

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Zonal Office of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced preparations for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) registration with a staff roundtable session.

The meeting, held on Monday, 6th January 2025, was led by the Director of the Abuja Zonal Office, Hajia Zainab Hamza, who sensitized staff on the importance of professionalism, civility, and efficiency during the upcoming registration exercise.

Call for Professional Conduct

While welcoming staff back after the New Year break, Hajia Hamza emphasized the need for respectful and fair treatment of candidates throughout the registration process.

“Let’s be reminded that our candidates must be respected and treated fairly at all times, particularly during the forthcoming registration exercise. You have to be professional in your conduct,” she said.

She also cautioned staff against any acts of misconduct that could tarnish the Board’s reputation, urging them to uphold the highest standards of integrity.

Ekiti State Coordinator’s Charge for Error-Free Registration

Similarly, the Ekiti State Coordinator, Mr. Olukayode Dada, addressed staff at the Ekiti State Office on Tuesday, 7th January 2025, urging them to ensure a seamless and error-free registration process.

Dada emphasized punctuality and warned against extortion, harassment, and loitering during work hours, highlighting the importance of maintaining discipline and focus throughout the exercise.

Ondo State Prepares for Seamless Registration

In Ondo State, the Coordinator, Mr. Fasasi Adebayo Subair, held an in-house sensitization programme for staff at the Professional Registration Centre in Akure on the same day. The session aimed to ensure quality service delivery and a smooth 2025 UTME registration exercise in the state.

Subair reminded staff to steer clear of any unethical practices, warning that anyone found guilty of misconduct would face disciplinary action.

“This programme is part of the efforts of the management to achieve a seamless 2025 UTME registration exercise in the state,” Subair stated.
