In a bid to promote education and provide opportunities for underprivileged students, the Caleb Danladi Foundation (CDF) has purchased Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms for youths in rural communities across Kaduna State. The initiative is aimed at ensuring that disadvantaged students have access to higher education.
Speaking about the program, the Foundation’s founder, Caleb Danladi, explained that the initiative seeks to bridge the educational gap in underserved areas by enabling young people to participate in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
“Education is key to unlocking potential, especially in rural areas where opportunities are limited. By providing JAMB forms, we are helping these students take a vital step towards a brighter future,” Danladi said.
The beneficiaries of this initiative were identified through the Foundation’s community outreach programs, which focus on addressing the needs of underserved communities. In addition to providing the JAMB forms, the Caleb Danladi Foundation will offer mentorship and guidance to help the students prepare for the examinations effectively.
Parents and community leaders in Kaduna State have commended the initiative, describing it as a much-needed intervention that will positively impact the lives of the students and their families. Many believe the effort will inspire hope and encourage academic aspirations in the rural areas.
The Foundation’s founder also revealed that the organization’s long-term goal includes securing funding to sponsor some of the beneficiaries through their tertiary education journey.
The Caleb Danladi Foundation has consistently worked to improve education in rural areas. Its other initiatives include providing school supplies and enhancing learning infrastructure in communities that lack access to quality educational resources.
This latest effort underscores the Foundation’s commitment to empowering underprivileged students and fostering academic success in Kaduna State.
