With just 52 days left before the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reaffirmed that registration will officially close on March 8, 2025, with no plans for an extension.
So far, JAMB has registered over 1.6 million candidates since the registration window opened on February 3, 2025. Candidates who are yet to complete their registration have only a few days left to do so before the deadline.
JAMB 2025 Important Dates:
- Registration Deadline: March 8, 2025
- Mock UTME: April 5, 2025
- Main UTME Exam: April 18 – April 28, 2025
JAMB Warns Against Late Registration
JAMB has reiterated that there will be no extension of the registration deadline, urging prospective candidates to register only at accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers to avoid last-minute rush and issues.
Exam Preparation and Final Tips
With the UTME set to commence on April 18, 2025, JAMB has encouraged candidates to intensify their preparation, practice past questions, and familiarize themselves with the CBT format to ensure a smooth exam experience.
Candidates should also ensure they receive their exam slips with details of their examination centers, date, and time well ahead of their test.

Jamb should extend registration,a lot of people hasn’t gotten there pin due to network issues
That’s very true I had issues with mine which lucky didn’t so last long,it was just 5days
