JAMB Responds to Candidate’s Profile Display Issue Ahead of 2025 Examination

Lagos, Nigeria – March 23, 2025 – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has addressed a concern raised by a candidate regarding difficulties accessing the 2025 examination profile. The issue surfaced on social media when a user, Floki (@OnsolFugu), reported a glitch while attempting to log into their JAMB profile.

In a post on X dated March 21, Floki explained, “Please I Registered Jamb 2024 n I registered again 2025 i used the same number and email to register for jamb again, so i login to jamb profile but it displayed last year profile instead of this year, please what should I do.” The candidate expressed confusion over why their 2024 profile appeared instead of the updated 2025 registration details, despite using the same phone number and email address for both registrations.

Responding promptly on the same day, JAMB’s official X handle (@JAMBHQ) reassured the candidate, stating, “@Onsolkfugu, there’s no cause for alarm. That happens because the 2025 platform isn’t yet made available for candidate’s view.” The board clarified that the delay in accessing the 2025 profiles is due to the platform not being fully rolled out for candidates, suggesting that the issue is temporary and will be resolved once the system is updated.

This exchange highlights ongoing preparations by JAMB for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), as the board works to ensure a smooth registration and examination process for millions of candidates across Nigeria. Candidates facing similar issues are encouraged to remain patient and monitor official JAMB channels for updates on when the 2025 platform will be fully accessible.
