The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has assured candidates not to panic if they are currently seeing their 2024 profile when trying to log in after registering for the 2025 UTME using the same phone number and email.
This clarification came after a concerned candidate, @OnsolFugu, posted on X (formerly Twitter) that he had registered for JAMB in 2024 and again in 2025 using the same contact details. However, when he tried logging into his JAMB profile, the system only showed his 2024 information, prompting confusion.
In response to his question, JAMB’s official handle (@JAMBHQ) replied:
“There’s no cause for alarm. That happens because the 2025 platform isn’t yet made available for candidate’s view.”
This means that even though candidates have successfully registered for the 2025 UTME, the online system may still display only their previous (2024) records until JAMB activates the 2025 portal for candidates to view their updated details. Once the new session is fully activated, candidates will be able to see their 2025 profile, exam slip, and related updates.
JAMB is urging all candidates to be patient and avoid unnecessary panic. The board also emphasizes that using the same email and phone number does not affect one’s new registration as long as the information was correctly entered during the 2025 UTME registration process.
Candidates are advised to keep checking their profiles regularly and await official announcements concerning the activation of the 2025 platform, including the printing of exam slips and checking of mock exam schedules.
