The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially opened the portal for candidates to print their 2025 UTME Mock Examination slips. This announcement comes as the board finalizes arrangements for the mock exam scheduled to hold on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
Candidates who indicated interest in taking the optional mock exam can now log in to the JAMB portal to print their notification slips, which contain important details such as:
- Exam date and session
- CBT centre name and address
- Reporting time
- Candidate’s registration number and instructions
How to Print Your JAMB Mock Exam Slip
To access and print their mock exam slip, candidates are required to:
- Visit the official JAMB website at www.jamb.gov.ng
- Click on the “2025 Mock Slip Printing” link
- Enter their JAMB registration number
- Click the “Print Examination Slip” button
The slip should be printed clearly and brought along on the day of the exam.
Candidates Advised to Prepare and Visit Centres Ahead of Time
JAMB has advised all mock candidates to visit their assigned centres at least a day before the exam to avoid confusion or lateness on the test day. The board reminded candidates that 7:00 a.m. is the arrival time, with biometric verification scheduled to begin by 7:25 a.m. sharp.
Failure to complete biometric verification will result in automatic disqualification, regardless of whether the candidate is present at the venue.
Candidates are also warned not to bring prohibited items such as:
- Mobile phones
- Smartwatches
- Calculators
- USB devices
- Books, bags, or any unauthorized materials
Only the printed mock slip and a simple biro are required.
Main UTME to Commence April 25
While the mock exam is optional and purely for practice, it helps both candidates and JAMB test readiness ahead of the real examination. The main UTME will begin on Friday, April 25, 2025, and run till Monday, May 5, 2025.
JAMB urges all candidates to take the mock seriously and use it to assess their speed, accuracy, and confidence in a real CBT environment.
