JAMB 2025 Mock Exam: Candidate Cries Out Over Alleged Fraud at Delta Registration Centre

A candidate for the JAMB 2025 Mock Examination, Chidiogo, has raised serious concerns over alleged fraud during her registration process, accusing a registration centre in Delta State of collecting money for the mock exam without properly registering her.

According to Chidiogo, she paid to participate in the mock exam at a centre identified as Julia-Gee Cornerstone, but later discovered she had not been registered by the official who handled her process, U.C. Emmanuel.

“The truth of the matter is that these people are thieves,” she said in her report.
“You pay for the mock exam, they do not register you, but instead covet your money for their personal use.”

She further explained that when she confronted the official involved, she was met with insults and refused a refund. Rather than taking responsibility or offering a solution, the official reportedly told her to return for an exam on Friday, April 11, 2025 — a date which is not recognized by JAMB for the mock examination.

“He repeatedly insulted me, refused to refund me and borderline just asked me to come for an exam by 7am on Friday, 11th April 2025, which I am very sure is not the JAMB mock examination I paid for,” she added.

The candidate expressed deep frustration over the situation, describing it as another example of how corruption affects everyday Nigerians, especially the youth.

“While obvious that corruption is a great bane in the Nigerian society, it is very much appalling that the upcoming generation are made to face it firsthand. Makes me wonder the kind of leaders tomorrow will bring forth. May God help us all!”

This incident adds to growing concerns around the lack of regulation and accountability at some private JAMB registration centres, where students often rely on third-party operators for their UTME and mock registrations.

JAMB has not yet responded to this particular case, but candidates are encouraged to always register through official and accredited CBT centres and report any irregularities immediately via JAMB’s support portal or helpline.
