A candidate, Godstime Emeka, has reached out seeking answers after completing the JAMB regularisation process but still being unable to access his JAMB admission letter on the portal.
According to Emeka, he had already done Undisclosed Registration/JAMB Regularisation, submitted the required print-out to his institution, and presented his school-issued admission letter at the JAMB State Office in Osogbo — yet he’s still unable to access his official JAMB admission letter online.
“I had done the necessary and required registrations… and submitted the form to the prestigious institution I did my ND. I presented the admission letter from the school at the JAMB Office, but they still requested the JAMB admission letter,” he explained.
“I’ve done all I was asked to do, but I keep checking the portal and can’t find the admission letter there. Please, is there anything else I’m missing?”
What You Need to Know About Regularisation and Admission Letters
Godstime’s experience is not unusual. Many candidates who go through JAMB regularisation often face delays in approval, especially if their school has not fully processed or confirmed their data with JAMB.
Here’s what typically needs to happen:
- You complete and submit the regularisation form (which it seems he has done)
- Your school must approve and forward the form to JAMB for final processing
- JAMB will then review, approve, and issue a new JAMB registration number (if you didn’t have one) or update your profile
- After that, your JAMB admission letter becomes available on the JAMB e-facility portal
What to Do Next
If you’ve submitted everything and still can’t find your admission letter:
- Go back to your institution’s admission or exams office to confirm they’ve processed and submitted your form to JAMB
- Visit or contact JAMB State Office (in this case, Osogbo) with all your documents to ask for a follow-up
- You can also send an email or complaint through the JAMB support portal: https://www.jamb.gov.ng/support
Delays can happen when either your institution or JAMB is yet to approve the regularisation. Until both parties act on it, the admission letter will not reflect online.
Final Note
Godstime’s situation is a reminder that while JAMB regularisation is a necessary step for students who didn’t receive admission through JAMB initially, the process requires follow-up and proper coordination between the school and JAMB.
Candidates are advised to keep track of the process and remain in touch with both their institutions and the nearest JAMB office for updates.
