Following the release of the 2025 JAMB Mock UTME results, several candidates have reported being unable to access their results despite sitting for the exam on Thursday, April 10.
While the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) confirmed that 115,735 results have already been released, it also disclosed that 10,446 results are still being processed and would be made available shortly.
Candidates Raise Concerns
Candidates across the country have taken to social media and other platforms to express concern after receiving messages such as “Result not available yet” or “Please check back later.”
Many have asked whether the delay is a sign of a problem with their exam performance or technical error.
However, JAMB has clarified that the delay is normal and is part of the ongoing processing and verification of data across all CBT centres.
What JAMB Said
In its official statement, JAMB acknowledged the issue:
“10,446 results are still undergoing processing and will be released soon,” the Board said.
“This is due to system checks and ongoing validations of new features introduced in this year’s exam.”
JAMB also urged candidates to be patient and avoid panic, as the mock exam is non-compulsory and does not affect UTME admission, but rather helps test the exam environment and system efficiency.
What to Do If Your Result Is Not Yet Available
If you have not yet seen your result:
- Wait at least 24–48 hours and try checking again
- Make sure you’re using the registered SIM
- Send MOCKRESULT to 55019 or 66019 (₦50 airtime required)
- Do not use another phone line or try to register the same number again
Looking Ahead
The main UTME exam begins on April 25, 2025, and JAMB has assured candidates that all issues encountered during the mock will be resolved before then.
Candidates are advised to remain calm, continue their preparations, and follow only official JAMB communication channels for updates.
