Anambra Candidates Cry Out Over Registration Challenges as 2025 DE Deadline Nears

Candidates from the South-East region, particularly Anambra State, have raised serious concerns about difficulties in completing their Direct Entry (DE) registration ahead of the approaching deadline.

One candidate, Chukwuka Chidalu, sent a heartfelt appeal to the JAMB management, describing the situation as frustrating and urgent.

“No Network,” Unapproachable Officials – Candidates Complain

According to Chukwuka, many DE candidates trying to register at the Amawbia centre in Anambra have been unable to complete their registration due to persistent network issues.

“They keep saying no network and it’s almost deadline,” Chukwuka wrote.
“Please come to our aid. The officials you put in Amawbia centre are so inhumane and not approachable.”

Chukwuka added that many candidates are now fearful that they might miss the registration deadline through no fault of their own.

JAMB Urged to Intervene

Candidates are calling on JAMB to urgently investigate the situation at the Amawbia centre and deploy immediate solutions to ensure no candidate is unfairly denied the opportunity to register.

With the deadline for 2025 Direct Entry registration drawing closer, the need for swift action cannot be overstated.

Past Experiences Raise Concerns

This is not the first time candidates have complained about network problems, overcrowding, and poor treatment at some centres, particularly during registration deadlines.

While JAMB has made efforts to automate and improve registration processes, the feedback from centres like Amawbia suggests that more hands-on supervision may be needed, especially in highly populated areas.

What Candidates Should Do

  • Keep calm and continue visiting the registration centre regularly.
  • Ensure all necessary documents are ready to avoid delays once network issues are resolved.
  • If the issue persists close to the deadline, report immediately to JAMB through official channels.

We hope JAMB responds quickly to ensure all eligible candidates in Anambra and beyond can complete their 2025 Direct Entry registration without unnecessary stress. Stay with us for more updates.
