As the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) draws closer, many candidates are beginning to think ahead about the next important steps, such as printing their original JAMB results after the exam.
However, some candidates, like Omale Sunday who reached out today, are worried because they can no longer access the Gmail account they used for JAMB registration.
This situation has raised concerns:
“If I cannot access my Gmail, how will I print my JAMB original result after the exam?”
Here’s what you need to know.
Your JAMB E-Facility Portal Is More Important Than Email
The good news is that even if you cannot access your Gmail account, you can still print your JAMB original result.
What you need is your JAMB e-facility account — the account you created on the JAMB website when you registered.
After the UTME exam and when the original results are released, candidates will be able to log into their JAMB portal and:
- Pay the required fee for original result printing
- Print their results directly from the JAMB portal
The email address is mainly used for notifications and registration purposes.
It is your JAMB portal login details (email + password) that are most important.
What to Do If You Forgot Your Portal Password
If you still know your registration email but cannot access it, you can try to:
- Reset your JAMB portal password using your phone number registered with JAMB.
- If password reset by phone is not possible, visit any accredited CBT centre or JAMB office after the exam to get help accessing your portal.
Note:
If you completely lost access to both your email and your phone number, you may be required to visit a JAMB office for further verification before you can print your original result.
Final Note
Candidates are advised not to panic if they cannot access the Gmail account used for JAMB registration.
Once you have your registration number and can log into your JAMB portal (or reset your password if necessary),
you will be able to print your original result after the examination without any problem.
The 2025 UTME will commence on Wednesday, 24th April 2025.
Candidates are advised to stay calm, focus on their preparation, and follow official JAMB updates for further instructions after the exam.
What to do if the year of your jamb examination slip says 2024 instead of 2025 what can I do
How can I open the jamb portal account
Please i can’t use my Email to check my slip, the person who registered me used [email protected] instead of [email protected],he mistakenly used 0 in place of O, the zero there is the problem please 🥺 i need help oo
Since the wrong email was used for your JAMB registration, you cannot use your real email to check your slip.
✅ To print your exam slip now, simply use your registration number or the phone number you used for JAMB registration at https://slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng/PrintExaminationSlip.
✅ Also, it is a good idea to create a new Gmail account using the wrong email ([email protected]) immediately.
This will help you later if you need to log into your JAMB portal or retrieve your admission letter.
This way, you won’t have any problems later on.
