According to him, the environment around the centre was heavily crowded — not just with candidates, but also with parents who came to accompany their children.

“I went to my nearest CBT centre. Everywhere is crowded with parents and candidates. First batch is almost done,” he reported.

A Common Scene on JAMB Exam Days

Across the country, similar reports are emerging. Many CBT centres have seen large gatherings since as early as 5:00 AM, as candidates arrive early for their sessions and parents wait outside.

In most cases:

  • Parents are not allowed inside the gates
  • Candidates are called in batches for biometric verification
  • Security personnel and JAMB officials are managing the process

Final Note

If you’re scheduled to write later today or in the coming days:

  • Arrive early, but be prepared for crowds
  • Stay calm and follow the instructions of officials
  • Bring only your reprint slip and necessary ID — avoid carrying bags or phones
