Mounting Concerns Over Road Safety

The Jos-Abuja road has become increasingly notorious for criminal attacks, including kidnappings and robberies, especially during late-hour travel. This latest attack underscores the rising insecurity on Nigeria’s highways and the vulnerability of civil servants and officials on official assignments.

The identity of the missing staff has not been officially disclosed, and JAMB is yet to release a public statement regarding the situation.

  • Increased military patrols on key inter-state highways,
  • Improved security intelligence, and
  • A complete reassessment of travel guidelines for government officials, especially those conducting sensitive national assignments like the ongoing 2025 UTME exercise.

As search efforts continue, Nigerians across the country await updates and are hoping for the safe return of the missing JAMB staff member.
