Ihunwo Announces Free JAMB Enrollment and CBT Classes for Students in Obio/Akpor

Amb. Chijioke Ihunwo, the Executive Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area in Rivers State, has unveiled an initiative to provide free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) enrollment and Computer-Based Test (CBT) preparatory classes for students in the area. This program aims to support both indigenes and non-indigenes residing or studying in Obio/Akpor, ensuring access to quality educational resources.

In a statement released by the chairman’s media aide, Amadi Eze, the initiative was described as part of Amb. Ihunwo’s commitment to bridging educational gaps and fostering academic excellence among students in the local government.

Forms for participation can be obtained from the office of the Supervisor for Education, Barr. Abigail Chiorlu-Ejukwa, located at the Obio/Akpor Council Secretariat in Rumuodumaya. The program offers a unique opportunity for students to prepare effectively for the JAMB examination through comprehensive CBT classes.

“This initiative is a deliberate effort by the chairman to ensure that no student is left behind due to financial barriers,” the statement read. “By offering free JAMB enrollment and preparatory classes, the chairman seeks to create opportunities for students to excel in their academic pursuits.”

The program has been lauded by community members as a much-needed intervention to support educational development in the area. It aligns with Amb. Ihunwo’s broader vision of empowering youths through education and addressing challenges that hinder academic progress.

Students are encouraged to take advantage of this initiative and access the resources provided to enhance their chances of success in the upcoming JAMB examination.
