As the 2025 UTME draws closer, many candidates have been asking questions about the importance of their registration slip during the reprinting process.
One candidate, Mustapha Daniel Oluwasegun, reached out with an important concern:
“Sir, I don’t have my registration slip with me but I still have the details. Can I still get my JAMB centre without the slip?”
Here’s the Answer:
Yes, you can still retrieve your JAMB exam centre information even if you misplaced or lost your original registration slip, as long as you still have your basic registration details (such as your JAMB registration number, email address, or registered phone number).
When JAMB activates the reprinting portal, you will be able to:
- Visit the official reprinting portal: https://slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng/PrintExaminationSlip
- Enter your registration number, email address, or phone number used during registration
- Access and print your examination slip, which contains your exam date, time, and centre.
You do not need the old slip to reprint. Your correct exam details will be generated automatically from JAMB’s database once you enter your registration information.
Why the Exam Slip Is Still Very Important
While you don’t need your old slip to retrieve your details, you must have a printed copy of your new examination slip to be allowed into the CBT centre on your exam day.
This slip shows:
- Your official exam date and time
- The address of your CBT centre
- Important exam day instructions
Without this slip, you will not be allowed to sit for the UTME.
Final Advice
- Prepare your registration details early so you can easily reprint once the portal opens.
- Print multiple copies of your slip after reprinting — one for yourself, and one spare in case of emergencies.
- Check back frequently for updates, as reprinting is expected to begin very soon.
Stay calm — losing your initial slip is not the end, and you’ll still be able to print a fresh, valid exam slip once JAMB activates the portal.
