The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is conducting the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) today, Thursday, April 10, 2025, across accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.
This optional mock exam is designed to help candidates prepare ahead of the main UTME, which is scheduled to begin on April 25, 2025. It gives students a chance to experience the CBT environment and understand how the real exam will be conducted.
Candidates were earlier advised to reprint their mock slips from April 3, 2025, via the official JAMB portal. The slip contains important information such as exam time, centre address, and registration number.
To support the smooth conduct of the exam, JAMB disbursed over ₦397 million as transport allowances to 1,909 officials involved in the supervision of the mock exercise.
The Board has reminded candidates that the mock exam is not compulsory and does not affect admission in any way. Its purpose is to build candidates’ confidence, improve speed, and test familiarity with the CBT system before the real exam.
Candidates are advised to arrive at their centres early, follow all instructions, and avoid bringing banned items such as phones, smartwatches, or calculators into the exam hall.
