The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has shared updates regarding the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). While an official registration start date and fee have yet to be announced, the board has previously disclosed that registration will commence in January 2025 following the conclusion of its accreditation process for Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide. Candidates are advised to stay tuned for the exact date and additional details, which will be communicated through JAMB’s official channels.
CBT Centres Fully Accredited
In preparation for the 2025 UTME, JAMB has confirmed that the accreditation of all CBT centres across the country has been successfully concluded. This ensures that candidates will have access to properly equipped centres for a seamless registration and examination process. The accreditation process is part of JAMB’s effort to uphold high standards and minimize technical issues during the examination.
Awaiting Registration Fee Announcement
As of now, the official fee for the 2025 UTME has not been announced. In 2024, the registration fee was ₦5,700, which included the e-PIN and the mandatory reading text for the Use of English section. Candidates should avoid speculation and wait for JAMB’s official statement to confirm the 2025 registration fee.
Free JAMB Form Opportunities for 2025
While registration details are pending, candidates can explore opportunities for free JAMB forms offered by various philanthropic organizations and individuals. These initiatives aim to support underprivileged students in achieving their educational goals.
Imran Roofing’s Free JAMB Form Initiative
Imran Roofing, led by Engineer Adegboyega Ayyub, has pledged to sponsor over 100 students for the 2025 UTME. This annual program also includes free JAMB preparatory classes and financial support for admitted students.
Saliu Mustapha Foundation
The Saliu Mustapha Foundation (SMF) is offering free JAMB forms through its Annual Free JAMB Form Initiative. Candidates selected through a qualifying examination will receive the forms along with additional academic preparation support.
Legends Club of Okun Land
In Kogi State, the Legends Club of Okun Land is set to provide free JAMB forms for 300 indigent students across five local government areas. This initiative underscores the club’s dedication to education and community development.
Other Benefactors
Additional programs include Hon. Olufemi Onireti’s yearly free JAMB form sponsorship and the Bere-Mont Group’s scholarships and educational support initiatives. Candidates should monitor local announcements and apply for these opportunities promptly.
Tips for Candidates
- Get Your NIN Ready: The National Identification Number (NIN) is mandatory for JAMB registration.
- Create a JAMB Profile: Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal to create your profile in advance.
- Start Studying Early: Familiarize yourself with the JAMB syllabus and past questions. The official reading text remains “The Life Changer” by Khadija Abubakar Jalli unless stated otherwise.
- Verify Information: Only trust updates from JAMB’s official website or accredited sources to avoid misinformation.
Beware of Misinformation
Candidates are advised to disregard unverified news regarding JAMB registration. Recently, false reports claimed that JAMB had changed its recommended reading text to “Lekki Headmaster”. JAMB debunked these claims, reiterating that only information released through its official channels should be trusted.
Conclusion
As of 13th January 2025, JAMB’s 2025 UTME registration is confirmed to begin in January, though the exact date and fee are still pending official announcements. Candidates should prepare proactively and explore free JAMB form opportunities to ease financial burdens. Stay connected to JAMB’s official channels for the latest updates and ensure a smooth registration process.
Thank you very much.
Thanks , but how can we create our jamb profile

Create a telegram group chat so we can be able to communicate with each other’s pls 🙏
I’m especially interested in the jamb form opportunities.
I am in need of it.
Please if you can create a WhatsApp or Telegram group to help us communicate with each other it will be most appreciated and also, news about the change of reading text to lekki headmaster came from a jamb website or was it faked??
If it could be helped I rather we not waste our time reading a text that won’t secure a single mark in our exams so please and please try to be exactly specific on what reading text we will be using.
Thank you
