The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has continued the 2025 UTME slip reprinting exercise, which officially began on Saturday, 19th April 2025.
All candidates who registered for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are expected to reprint their slips to confirm their exact examination date, time, and venue.
The Board has also confirmed that the 2025 UTME will commence on Thursday, 24th April 2025.
Challenges Candidates Are Facing
Despite the reprinting portal being opened, many candidates have encountered technical difficulties while trying to access their slips.
Several candidates reported errors such as:
- “Connection Timeout Expired” messages,
- Slow loading of the JAMB portal, and
- Failure to display examination details after multiple attempts.
The heavy traffic caused by thousands of candidates trying to reprint their slips at the same time has contributed significantly to these issues.
JAMB’s Advice to Candidates
Candidates are strongly advised to:
- Exercise patience and keep trying,
- Attempt reprinting during off-peak hours, such as early mornings or late evenings,
- Ensure a strong and stable internet connection before reprinting.
JAMB has assured that all technical challenges are being addressed to ensure that every candidate can access their slip before their scheduled examination date.
Important Instructions for Reprinting
While reprinting, candidates are reminded to:
- Use their JAMB Registration Number, Phone Number, or Email Address used during registration to access their slip.
- Ensure that pop-ups are allowed on their browser, as the slip opens in a new tab or window.
- Print their slip clearly, with all details and their photograph visible.
Candidates must take the printed slip to the examination centre on their exam day.
What to Do If Your Details Are Not Found
If your portal shows “Details not found for this examination,” it may mean that your exam record has not been fully uploaded yet.
In such cases:
- Wait for a few hours or up to a day,
- Try reprinting again later,
- If the issue persists after a reasonable time, visit an accredited CBT centre or a JAMB office for assistance.
Final Reminder
Candidates are urged to complete their reprinting as early as possible.
The 2025 UTME will officially begin on Thursday, 24th April 2025.
Late printing or last-minute delays could affect your readiness for the examination.
Candidates should also plan their movements carefully, arrive at their centres early, and comply fully with JAMB’s instructions to ensure a smooth examination experience.
