The 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), is officially scheduled to conclude on Monday, May 5, 2025.
The exam began on Thursday, April 24, following a slight adjustment from the initial start date of April 25. Over the course of the examination period, more than 2 million candidates have participated in the UTME across 784 accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.

Multiple Daily Sessions
To ensure all registered candidates are accommodated, the examination has been conducted in batches, with multiple sessions held each day at the various centres.
Despite isolated challenges reported at a few centres, the majority of candidates have described the conduct of the exam as generally smooth and well-organized.
When Will Results Be Released?
With the conclusion of the exam just days away, many candidates are now turning their attention to the release of results. JAMB has reiterated that results will not be released immediately after the exams, but only after all post-examination procedures have been completed.

“UTME 2025 results to be released as soon as all post-examination analyses and other procedures are completed. Candidates are enjoined to be patient,” the Board posted via its official social media channels.
