To retrieve an existing profile code, candidates are instructed to send the keyword “RESEND” to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number previously linked to their NIN. This simple step will prompt JAMB to resend the candidate’s existing profile code via SMS.
However, for candidates who no longer have access to the phone number associated with their profile code, JAMB recommends visiting an accredited JAMB CBT Centre or reaching out to their network service provider to recover or reactivate the phone number.
JAMB has also emphasized the importance of safeguarding profile codes and maintaining access to the registered phone numbers to avoid unnecessary complications during registration.
The Board further reassured candidates that its systems are designed to maintain data integrity and prevent duplication of profiles, which means candidates can confidently rely on their previously generated profile codes for future registrations.
As the registration period for the 2025 UTME approaches, candidates are urged to address any concerns about their profile codes early and adhere strictly to the guidelines provided by JAMB. Staying informed through official JAMB communication channels is key to ensuring a seamless registration process and avoiding misinformation.

I registered for jamb in 2018 and 2020 with thesame phone number and email address, and when I got to jamb office on Monday for regularization I was initially told my profile was still active so I can use it for regularization and was asked to proceed for payment. After paying, the story changed to my profile being inactive. Please help me resolve the issue as I have limited time thanks.
