The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is conducting the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) today, Thursday, April 10, 2025, across various centers nationwide. This optional examination serves as a preparatory exercise for candidates ahead of the main UTME, scheduled to commence on April 25, 2025.
In preparation for the mock examination, JAMB disbursed over ₦397 million as transport allowances to 1,909 officials involved in the exercise. This disbursement underscores the board’s commitment to ensuring a seamless and efficient examination process.
Candidates were advised to print their notification slips from April 3, 2025, via the JAMB website. These slips contain essential details such as examination date, venue, and time. JAMB emphasized the importance of candidates familiarizing themselves with their examination centers prior to the exam to ensure timely arrival and reduce the risk of disqualification due to lateness.
The mock examination aims to provide candidates with firsthand experience of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) environment, thereby aiding their preparation for the main UTME. Candidates are reminded that participation in the mock exam is optional and does not influence admission decisions.
For further updates and information regarding the main UTME, candidates are encouraged to regularly visit the official JAMB website or contact JAMB support channels.
