Abuja, Nigeria – March 19, 2025 – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially restructured the nomenclature of its zonal and outstation office directors across the country.
This change is part of JAMB’s ongoing reforms aimed at improving administrative efficiency and streamlining operations within its zonal offices.
According to the new directive, each JAMB zonal office has been assigned a unique acronym, while the heads of these offices will now hold the official title of “Zonal Director” followed by the name of their respective locations.
The New Structure: JAMB’s Updated Zonal Office Titles
The restructuring affects JAMB offices in 14 major zones, each of which now has a standardized office acronym and director designation.
Below is the new nomenclature for JAMB’s Zonal Directors across Nigeria:
