A Deputy Director with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Mr. Jamilu Musa Jauro, has emerged as the winner of the ₦15 million prize for the best project at the 2024 Executive Intelligence Management Course (EIMC) 17. The prestigious program was organized by the National Institute for Security Studies (NISS).
According to a statement by JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, Mr. Jauro not only claimed the top honor for his project but was also inducted as a Fellow of the Security Institute (fsi) on December 7, 2024.
The EIMC 17 course, themed “Artificial Intelligence, Security, and Emerging Economies in Africa: Challenges and Prospects,” brought together high-ranking participants from 28 Nigerian agencies and seven organizations across five African nations, including Chad, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, and Rwanda.
Spanning ten months, the rigorous program is designed for senior public servants at the Deputy Director level or equivalent ranks in the armed forces. Participants engage in advanced training to address complex security issues, foster inter-agency cooperation, and promote international collaboration. The prestigious Fellow of the Security Institute (fsi) title is awarded based on outstanding performance in academics and character.
Dr. Fabian Benjamin’s statement highlighted Jauro’s achievement as a testament to his dedication and excellence. The statement read:
