During his visit, the MAPOLY Rector expressed gratitude for the strong working relationship between JAMB and the institution. He noted that JAMB’s continuous support has played a crucial role in streamlining the admission process, ensuring that deserving students gain access to higher education.

JAMB Ogun State Coordinator Emphasizes CAPS Compliance

In response, the Ogun State Coordinator of JAMB, Mr. Hakeem AbdulHameed, emphasized the importance of ensuring all admission processes are strictly conducted through the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

He stated that JAMB expects every institution in Ogun State, including MAPOLY, to fully comply with admission advisories, warning that no candidate should be admitted outside of CAPS.

He further urged the Rector to prioritize the signing of Indemnity Forms, explaining that:

  • Admission integrity is crucial for every institution.
  • Unauthorized admissions will not be recognized by JAMB.
  • Students admitted into Part-Time programs must be properly registered, regardless of their year of admission.

He also reminded the Rector that since 2021, JAMB has stopped accepting requests under the Condonement of Undisclosed Illegal Institutional Admission (CUIIA) window, meaning institutions can no longer push students into illegal admission pathways.
