The Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Mobilisation, Dr. Stephen Omobamidele Agbi, has extended his support for education by providing 1,000 free JAMB forms to indigent students preparing for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Speaking in Akure, the state capital, Dr. Agbi explained that the initiative was part of his commitment to reducing the number of out-of-school children in Ondo State.
Sponsorship for Top Performers
In addition to covering the JAMB registration costs, Dr. Agbi announced that he would sponsor the three best-performing students in any higher institution of their choice within Nigeria.
“Education is a tool for liberation, and I remain committed to supporting the youth in achieving their dreams,” he stated.
Dr. Agbi, who is also the CEO of AS Wonders Homes and Properties, reaffirmed his dedication to humanitarian service, promising more interventions in the education sector to help underprivileged students in the state.
Encouragement to Beneficiaries
Urging students to seize the opportunity, Agbi emphasized the importance of education in shaping the future.
“You are the future of our state, and I will do everything in my power to support you. Among you are future governors, senators, ministers, councillors, and teachers. Go out there and make us proud.”
He further advised the students to shun social vices, remain focused, and work hard to pass their JAMB exams and secure admission into tertiary institutions.
Dr. Agbi wished all 2025 JAMB candidates success, expressing hope that the beneficiaries would make the most of the opportunity and excel in their studies.
