In a bid to enhance educational opportunities for young women, the Sokoto Education Development Trust Fund has commenced preparations for 151 secondary school girls ahead of the 2025 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.
The training program, inaugurated by the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Hon. Mohammad Tukur Alkali, is designed to equip the selected girls with the skills and knowledge needed to excel academically. The initiative draws participants from various schools across Sokoto State.

Speaking at the inauguration, Hon. Alkali reaffirmed Sokoto State’s dedication to advancing education for girls, emphasizing the critical role such programs play in building a brighter future for the state.
