JAMB 2025: Several Candidates Yet to Write as Examination Continues Nationwide

The 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) officially began on Thursday, 24th April 2025. However, not all candidates have written their papers yet, as the exam will continue until Monday, 5th May 2025.

Across Nigeria, hundreds of thousands of students are still preparing for their scheduled dates, with different sessions and time slots spread across the coming days. For many, their exams are set for later in the week, and some will even write in the final days of the schedule.

JAMB had earlier announced that a total of over 2 million candidates registered for this year’s UTME, and with a system of multiple daily sessions, the examination is carefully spread to avoid overcrowding at centres.

What Candidates Should Know

• Stay Prepared: Even though the exam started days ago, those yet to write should not relax. This is the perfect time to revise, stay focused, and avoid last-minute panic.
• Reconfirm Your Details: Candidates are reminded to always reprint their exam slips if they are confused about their date, time, or centre.
• Arrive Early: JAMB advises candidates to get to their CBT centres at least one hour before their scheduled exam time.
• Stay Updated: Those scheduled to write should keep checking official platforms for any last-minute instructions or minor adjustments.
• Avoid Distractions: Ignore false information circulating online about changes or postponements unless it comes directly from JAMB.

Final Reminder

The examination will officially end on Monday, 5th May 2025, meaning candidates still have several days to sit for their papers. If you haven’t written yet, keep preparing seriously, stay positive, and focus on giving your best when your own day comes.
