JAMB 2025: “JAMB Is Not for the Weak — Chemistry and Physics Were Tough” — Victory Advises Science Candidates

A JAMB 2025 candidate, Victory, has shared her heartfelt experience after writing her UTME, sending out an emotional but encouraging message to fellow science students who are yet to write theirs.

“Hmmm. JAMB is not for the weak 😫. I wrote mine today. Chemistry and Physics no be child’s play. Please, if you are a science student and still yet to write, please read hard and pray very well. God will help all of us 🙏,” she said.

Victory’s words reflect the true reality many candidates face — that preparing for JAMB takes serious effort, especially for science students.

Chemistry and Physics — No Easy Ride

According to Victory:

  • Chemistry and Physics questions were very challenging.
  • The subjects demanded not just memorization, but deep understanding and fast thinking.
  • Candidates who took these subjects lightly likely found themselves struggling in the hall.

Her honest warning reminds science candidates that real preparation is not optional — it is essential.

A Word of Advice to Candidates Yet to Write

Victory’s advice is clear:

  • Read seriously — don’t assume anything will be simple.
  • Focus especially on calculations and tricky concepts in Physics and Chemistry.
  • Pray and prepare spiritually — inner strength and calmness matter during exams.
  • Believe in yourself, but also put in the hard work.

Even with tough questions, a strong mind and solid preparation can make the difference.

Final Words

Victory’s experience is a powerful reminder that JAMB rewards hard work and perseverance, not shortcuts.
To every science candidate yet to write: use every minute wisely, stay focused, and pray for strength.

Wishing Victory and all candidates the very best — you’ve already shown great courage by facing the exam, and success will surely follow!

  1. Physic and chemistry mad die
Imagine I login in the center I was writing jamb exam that other place are using 2 hours for it but surprisingly our own was 1 hours 40 minute
    Bad system
    Poor security everywhere

  2. Starting with English was the best decision I made today. Though I originally planned to begin with Maths—my strength—a last-minute tip from the candidate beside me changed my approach. English first gave me the calm I needed, while Chemistry came tough. Maths, as expected, made me smile. Science students, don’t underestimate strategy. Choose your starting subject wisely!

  3. Dalom school’s CBT center was the best and very conducive, though physics and chemistry were hard it made it look like tutorial classes were unnecessary, for real.

  5. I advise other science students that have not done jamb …..
To do the simple ones first…. Because of time saving…
And for those who doesn’t know mathematics much focus more on English it’s a bonus mark…..
    Just calm down and focus…

This is to inform you that I was unable to write the examination because of the system couldn’t verify me(my finger print didn’t work) every effort to get the verification of the finger print proved abortive. The exam started and I couldn’t do the exam
Despite the fact that I abided by all the examination rules
I came early, and arrived at the right time and at the same venue for the exam
All effort to ensure the finger print work was fruitless by jamb officials at the center.
I was delayed till the end of the exam
I will be grateful if u exercise action and allow me to write my exam in few days from now so I won’t loose d whole Year
    Thank you

  7. “Warning to all JAMB candidates: this year’s physics questions were EXTREMELY CHALLENGING!

I just finished taking the 2025 JAMB exam, and I must say, the physics questions were incredibly tough! It was like the examiners wanted to test our sanity, not just our knowledge of physics.

From complex numerical problems to abstract conceptual questions, the exam was a true test of endurance, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Even the most prepared candidates would have found themselves scratching their heads, wondering how to tackle some of the questions.

The questions covered a wide range of topics, from mechanics to electromagnetism, and each one required a deep understanding of the underlying principles and concepts. It was clear that the examiners wanted to assess not just our knowledge, but also our ability to apply that knowledge to solve complex problems.

To all my fellow JAMB candidates out there, I feel your pain! This year’s physics questions were undoubtedly some of the toughest we’ve seen in recent years.

Let’s hope our results reflect our hard work and dedication, despite the challenging nature of the exam. #JAMB2025 #Physics #ChallengingExam”
