A 2025 UTME candidate, Emmanuel, has raised concern after arriving at his JAMB CBT centre very early for his scheduled 6:30AM exam on Friday, April 25, only to find that no official or candidate was present at the time.

“I have an exam by 6:30 today. I am already in the centre but there is no sign of anybody,” he wrote at 5:34AM.

What to Know About Early Arrival

Candidates are always encouraged to arrive at least 1 hour before their scheduled time, especially for early sessions like 6:30AM. However, arriving much earlier—such as before 5:30AM—may result in a quiet environment as officials and invigilators may not have started screening or setting up.

It’s not unusual for CBT centres to begin activities around 5:45AM to 6:00AM, especially in the first batch of the day.
