Today’s candidates are hopeful that the experience will be better, especially with improved technical arrangements now being reported at many centres.

Centres Improving On Early Arrival

Unlike the first day where candidates complained of late start times, many centres today began screening and biometric verification as early as 5:30 am to avoid any delays. Candidates are reminded that arriving early remains very important, as those who come late may not be allowed to sit for their exams.

JAMB Monitoring Teams Active Across States

Officials from JAMB headquarters and state offices are still actively monitoring activities at CBT centres. According to reports, centres that fail to comply with the Board’s guidelines face serious penalties, including possible blacklisting.

Candidates are encouraged to report any misconduct or technical problems they experience during their exams.

Special Attention for Blind Candidates’ UTME

Meanwhile, JAMB has confirmed that special UTME exams for blind and visually impaired candidates will commence on April 28 and 29, 2025 in 11 dedicated centres nationwide. These candidates will write the same papers as others but under a special arrangement overseen by the JAMB Equal Opportunity Group (JEOG).
