“Lateness and Lack of Discipline Everywhere” – JAMB Candidate Shares His Experience at Tinuade Commercial Hall

A 2025 UTME candidate, Israel Opakunbi, has shared his frustration over the conduct of some fellow candidates at his CBT centre — Icon Online (Tinuade Commercial Hall).

According to Israel, what he witnessed was troubling and disheartening. Despite the seriousness of the exam, he said many students arrived late and displayed little sense of urgency or discipline.

“I just wonder how some people will pass,” he wrote. “Lateness, lack of self-discipline. I nearly cried today during the exam.”

Israel’s report is one of several coming in from candidates across the country. While some centres experienced smooth sessions, others reported confusion, poor coordination, or delays caused by candidates themselves.

A Wake-Up Call for Other Candidates

With several days still left in the exam period, Israel’s message serves as a reminder to:

  • Arrive early
  • Follow instructions strictly
  • Remain focused and prepared
  • Respect the exam environment

No matter how well a candidate may have studied, lateness or disorganization can easily ruin their chances.
