NELFUND Disburses ₦372.28 Million Student Loan to 2,973 UNILORIN Students

Vice-Chancellor Confirms Disbursement

The Vice-Chancellor of UNILORIN, Prof. Wahab Egbewole (SAN), confirmed the disbursement, highlighting that each student received varying amounts based on their financial needs. According to him, the intervention will help students cover tuition fees, academic expenses, and upkeep, allowing them to concentrate on their studies.

The Managing Director of NELFUND, Akintunde Sawyerr, revealed that since the launch of the loan program, the fund has distributed over ₦104 billion to 613,734 students across various tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
