      • I have resit for jamb twice and for the two times I’ve written jamb I used one profile code (that is the previous one I used to write the first time) but now I want to write again but my simcard has been blocked and I was told that sim swap is not available for jamb …so how do I go about it? How do I get my previous profile code and is it okay to use the same profile code three times?

      • You can use any mobile number not necessarily the one you used to register your NIN. Just make sure it’s a number that had never been used for JAMB registration before.

  20. I used Airtel number to send my nin number to 66019 and I got a reply saying “this service will cost you #50, kindly accept the charge on the next prompt to get your profile code.
    The next prompt reply was from “9911” saying “Thank you for requesting for JAMBEXAMCHECK at NGN50.0. Data charges may apply. Please reply: 1 Buy. 2 Reject”. So I replied 1 and after a message from Airtel replied saying “JAMBEXAMCHECK service has been activated on your Airtel Mobile. Charges: NGN 50.0”. and after some minutes I got another reply from 66019 saying “We are sorry your request could not be processed, kindly try again later”.
    I have done this over and over again with the having same reply with about 5hrs intervals.
    I have tried it with my other sim Glo which I just registered on the 30th of January but the message won’t deliver.
    The Airtel line an using isn’t registered with my NIN but when I used the number I register with my NIN which is Glo, the message didn’t deliver when I tried it countless time for 66019 but when I tried it for 55019 there was no response what so ever for days so I was advised to stick to one number which is my Airtel.
    I shall be grateful if you would give a respond to my complaint

Since last week Thursday i after sending my NIN to 55019 it sent me “Wrong parameter send HELP to 66019″ which i did then i got a message from MTNN that i have succecesfully registered for jamb and that i’ll recieve my jamb profile code ” Do not REPEAT this process” it said and till now i have still not recived my code i have 300naira airtime in my MTN number wihich is linked to my NIN

  26. I used my MTN line to get my profile code I have sent it to “55019” but the response was “unable to charge”.
    I found out of the number “66019” which worked better for me it accepted the charge but it keeps telling me that my request failed to be processed and to try again later I’ve done that numerous times but to no avail, I’ve tried it at night too.

  29. I sent my NIN to 55019 and I didn’t receive anything even though #50 had been deducted from my Airtime. So I tried it again and it kept saying “Service is expired”
    I also tried it with other Numbers and I got this message saying “ Your NIN (1976….) has already been registered with GSM Number (09118944615)”
    I’m yet to receive the profile Code till now and I’m Confused as I don’t know what else to do…

    Thou I still have the form I used to register for jamb in 2021..

    • Having issues with my Jamb profile code creation. Below are the SMS response received whenever I sent my NIN to 55019, the charges fees will be deducted and yet haven’t received the profile code for the past 5 days now.

      • I am also facing same problem and I was told it is my NIN and I have done the change of phone number and still not going through
        I have been trying it since 7th of January 2025 and now I have to search for my journals and I saw my last year profile code and still can’t change the phone number that is showing me and I have tried it time without numbers and now jamb officials are telling me that I will still use the phone number like that. And the funniest thing is that the registration will soon close. I tried retrieving the number but MTN said I should get one document that will take 4 years to start the process talk less of getting the document and send it to MTN. I still do t get it they should help us.
        I went to their office at Ikoyi on last week Monday morning and I was told that they are waiting for Abuja to ask them to start the change of phone number.

  99. I went to a jamb center and I was asked to use USER to generate my profile code, when I did it the profile code came out with my name and nin.
    When they inputted it in the laptop it gave an error message, then the jamb attendant said i should use NIN and nin number but they said it has already been registered with USER.
    So pls how can I change it to NIN

    My name is Bobola Ahmed Moses, I first registered for jamb in year 2020 using the following details:
    Phone number: 09071203989
    Email: [email protected]
    Also, I used the above stated details to register for 2021 jamb. However, my phone was stolen afterwards and all effort to retrieve the phone number and the mail proved abortive.
    Resulting from the above, I have been unable to access my jamb portal due to hacked mail, and when I registered for direct entry in jamb office, I was told it cannot be fixed.
    Consequently,I therefore plead to the support team to kindly render necessary assistance in this regard. As new jamb registration form is out and I intend to register for another direct entry,but wish to have access to my account by using another phone number to receive my profile code and login into my jamb account without always visiting jamb centers.
    Please kindly treat this as urgent as possible.
