The JAMB 2025 Mock Exam is finally here, and thousands of candidates across Nigeria are writing it today, Thursday, April 10.
Whether you’ve already left home or you’re about to head out, this quick guide is here to remind you of the final things you need to do before stepping into the exam hall.
Let’s go over some important last-minute tips to help you stay calm, confident, and prepared.
1. Don’t Forget Your Mock Exam Slip
Before anything else, make sure you have your printed mock exam slip with you. It shows your exam:
- Centre name and address
- Time
- Registration number
If you forgot to reprint, go to any nearby CBT centre or café that can help you before heading to your centre.
2. Leave Early – Don’t Risk Going Late
Even if your exam is for a later time, it’s best to arrive at least 1 hour early. Some centres begin early, and you don’t want to be rushing or blocked at the gate.
Also, account for traffic or distance if your centre is far from your house.
3. Dress Neatly and Keep It Simple
There’s no special dress code, but don’t wear anything suspicious. Avoid:
- Heavy clothing with too many pockets
- Caps, face masks (unless needed), or dark glasses
- Flashy jewelry or watches
Dress decently and comfortably.
4. Don’t Carry Phones or Gadgets
This is important: don’t go to the exam hall with your phone, smartwatch, or any other device. You may be stopped or even disqualified.
Only carry:
- Your mock exam slip
- A valid ID if required
- A small bottle of water (optional, if allowed)
5. Stay Calm, It’s Just Practice
The mock exam is not the main UTME. It’s just practice to help you know what the real exam will be like. So don’t panic if you’re nervous — this is your chance to learn.
Even if you don’t score high, it doesn’t mean you won’t do well in the real exam. Just do your best and use it to learn.
Good Luck!
As you head into your mock exam today, remember: this is part of your preparation. Take it seriously, but don’t stress too much. Be focused, be confident, and stay calm.
We wish you all the best in your JAMB 2025 Mock!
