As candidates try to print their 2025 JAMB examination slips, many are seeing a message on the portal that says:
“Please allow pop-up for this site from your browser.”
Josh, one of the candidates, asked:
“What’s the pop-up about?”
Here’s the simple explanation.
What the Pop-Up Message Means
When you try to print your JAMB slip,
the portal needs to open your slip in a new window or tab on your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Opera Mini, etc.).
This is called a pop-up window.
If your browser is blocking pop-ups,
you will not see your exam slip appear, even after clicking “Print Slip”.
That is why JAMB asks you to allow pop-ups for their site.
How to Allow Pop-Ups on Your Browser
If you see the pop-up message, follow these simple steps:
- Look at the top right side of your browser.
- You will see a small warning like “Pop-up blocked”.
- Click on it and select “Always allow pop-ups from this site.”
- Then reload the page and click “Print Slip” again.
After allowing pop-ups, your exam slip will open properly for you to view, download, or print.
Final Advice
The pop-up message is normal when printing your JAMB exam slip.
You must allow pop-ups so the slip can open on your device.
If you are printing with a phone and it is not working,
you can try switching to a laptop or desktop computer for easier printing.
The 2025 UTME will officially begin on Thursday, 24th April 2025.
All candidates are advised to print their slips early and fix any issues quickly to avoid last-minute stress.
Bad news I’ve tried creating an email that Google says that the username had already been used by another person isn’t any other way?
It keeps showing please allow pop up, but I can’t find anything at the right top that indicate if the pop up is blocked or not
