When Will JAMB 2025 Results Be Released and When Will University Admission Begin?

As the 2025 UTME draws near, many candidates are already asking two very important questions:

• “When will JAMB release the results?”
• “When will university admission begin?”

Here’s what you should know:

When Will JAMB 2025 Results Be Released?

JAMB usually releases UTME results within a few days after the entire exam has ended.
For this year, the UTME is expected to end in early May 2025, so candidates should expect their results between May 5th and May 10th, depending on how quickly JAMB completes the processing and verification.

Note: JAMB may announce that results are being released in batches — not all at once. So, don’t panic if others get theirs before you.

When Will University Admission for 2025 Start?

The admission process will not begin immediately after the UTME results are released.
Here’s the usual order of events:

1. Release of UTME results.
2. Policy meeting with institutions to decide the 2025 admission cut-off marks.
3. Opening of the JAMB CAPS portal for admission processing.
4. Schools begin releasing Post-UTME forms and conducting screenings.

This means university admission will likely start around July or August 2025, and continue in batches for several months.
