Now that the JAMB 2025 Mock Exam is over, the question many people are asking is this: Was it easy or hard?
Across different centres and states in Nigeria, candidates had mixed experiences. While some found the exam smooth and manageable, others complained about technical issues, time pressure, or difficult questions.
We’ve gathered comments and reports from real students to help you get a clearer picture of how the mock exam went across the country.

Some Said It Was Easy
Many students who prepared well and practiced with past questions said they were happy with the experience.
“I was surprised. The questions weren’t too hard, and I finished before time. I just hope the real exam won’t be too different,” said Esther, a candidate from Owerri.
Another student, Musa from Gombe, said, “The system worked well at my centre. No delay, and the questions looked like past JAMB questions. It helped me build confidence.”
These types of reactions show that good preparation makes a big difference. For those who studied early, the mock felt like a simple test run.

Others Faced Challenges
On the other hand, some students described their experience as stressful. A few centres started late, while others had login issues or power delays.
Chidi, a student from Delta, said, “We waited for hours before the exam started. Some systems didn’t work, and many of us were confused. It made me anxious.”
Another student shared online: “I didn’t finish my Use of English section. The time went too fast. I was hoping for more minutes.”
These reports show that even if the questions are not difficult, technical issues or lack of time management can affect performance.
What Does This Mean for You?
The truth is, the mock exam experience depends on the candidate and the centre. Some had it easy, some struggled. But what matters most is how you use what you’ve learned.
If you found the mock easy, don’t relax — the real UTME may be more intense. If it was hard, now is your chance to adjust and focus on your weak points.
Every candidate can improve before April 25, when the main UTME begins.
Final Thoughts
The JAMB mock exam is not about passing or failing. It’s about learning. Whether it felt easy or hard, take time to think about what you need to do better.
Keep studying, avoid distractions, and prepare with purpose.
The system at Delsu was a mess.if the jamb board are not ready for this C.B.T exams, why introduce it at all. My system was going off and on and I start again. And the time frame was too short and I couldn’t finish up my exams. Please they should do something about it before the jamb day. Let it not repeat itself
